Eligibility for NMMSS Scholarship 2024
To join the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme, you should know some rules.
Under this scheme, you must have 55 percent marks in class 8 and the student should be able to come in class 9. If the student belongs to caste / tribe, then 5 percent discount can be given.

Students must be regular students of government or local school.
The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh.

How much scholarship is given?
In the NMMSS scholarship scheme, one lakh students get assistance of Rs 12,000 every year, which they get for 4 years.
Only students of class 9 to 12 will get the benefit of this scheme.
How to apply for NMMSS?

Step 1 – To apply in NMMS Scholarship Scheme, you have to visit the official website https://mhrd.gov.in/nmms.
Step 2 – Now the home page will open in front of you, in which you have to register yourself as a new user.
Step 3 – Now you have to click on the option of ‘Central Scheme’, after which you have to choose Department of School Education and Literacy.
Step 4 – Now you have to click on the option of National Means Cum Merit Scholarship.
Step 5 – Now a new page will appear in front of you, in which you have to fill the application form, in which you have to enter the name, Aadhar card number, school enrollment number, state and bank account information.
Step 6 – After registration, you will get the registration number, which you can login to the NSP portal. This will be useful for you in future.
Step 7 – If you are a student of 9th and 10th, then you have to apply for Pre Matric Scholarship, if you are a student of 11th and 12th, then you have to apply for Post Matric Scholarship.
Step 8 – Enter your personal information, after this you have to attach the photo copy of your document.
Step 9 – After the application form is submitted, take a printout of it and submit it to your school.
